This Saturday (18/10/2025) I’ll be doing my first live stream as The Being Afraid. It’ll be around 40-50 minutes of semi-improv ambient/drone with me and my eremition board and will feature some kind of extra visuals cleaved from previous stuff I did for Dissonance Radio that I’ll be slowly moulding into an accompaniment for a live set.

It’ll probably be a bit sketchy as I’ve got at least one heavily used noisy pedal knob that will be marring the performance and my Microfreak likes to throw a bit of a hissy fit before agreeing to being synced with the Elektron:Samples. Also I have completely forgotten how Open Broadcast Software works. But I’m the kind of guy who needs the little bit of pressure of being live online to focus my mind and push this thing forward a little. Come and witness the shambling in action.

The stream will be on Twitch. The exact time will be posted on Bluesky/Instagram as soon as I’ve got my shit together.
